A concert extravaganza for peoples on the brink of war.
Proper propaganda to get your toes tapping and feet marching!
Imagine a USO rally as a queer performance-art concert: Pearle Harbour's Battle Cry reimagines and reenacts of some of the most popular pro-war rallying songs of the last century, without loyalty to nation or cause.
From Vera Lynn classics to the anxious pop hits of the Cold War, imperial Japanese gunka and Great War Canadiana, Pearle pulls her audience into the trenches, to find out what's worth fighting for, and if you've got what it takes.
Starring Pearle Harbour as chanteuse, band-leader and dear leader, and featuring the talents of Emma & Sara Bortolon-Vettor (Bonnie Trash), with bold new arrangements of wartime favourites by musical director Steven Conway!
